Sorry I’m late is written by me, Isabelle Amy.
People who read Sorry I’m Late have said…
“Your newsletter fucking hit me right in the soul.”
“I seriously love your writing, I can relate to so many things you write about. It’s amazing.”
“You capture something universally human, areas so hard to find words for. Thank you.”
I say the three words, “sorry I’m late” all. the. time.
But I’ve also come to realise that not only am I late to parties, doctor’s appointments, work - I’m kind of late to LIFE IN GENERAL.
You know the theoretical, philosophical, nebulous, ephemeral stuff; procreating, settling down (in one house with one person forever?), finding a job you like, being a good person. All that.
You can expect thoughtful, sometimes funny, sharply written musings on being human in a strange world. Think tripping on mushrooms on a Monday (dumb), how loneliness can be sweet sometimes or the honestly eternal question of whether or not to have kids.
If you subscribe, you’ll get the newsletter (for free) twice a month. I’m not here to clog up ya inbox.
